Arab American Family Services is among the 17 CBOs that operate a welcoming center under the Illinois Welcoming Centers, a state-funded project to help immigrants and limited English proficient individuals navigate state services.

AAFS serves over 30 communities in South Suburban Chicagoland. Its programs focus on safety-net case management as well as domestic violence prevention and intervention, elderly and disability assistance, cultural diversity training, mental health assistance, immigration services, community health and education, and youth empowerment.
